ROSWELL, GA — Gresham, Smith and Partners, a leading multi-disciplinary design and consulting firm for the built environment, announces that it has been selected by the city of Roswell, Georgia, to provide transportation standby engineering design services to facilitate improvements across the city.
GS&P’s transportation engineering team will evaluate a wide range of factors that influence project success including environmental, geotechnical, hydrological, landscaping, lighting, surveying, intersection design, traffic engineering, bicycle/pedestrian, bridge/structures, design/build, and roundabouts.
“We began work on our first project for the city of Roswell more than 20 years ago and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue that relationship,” said Jody Braswell, Senior Transportation Engineer with GS&P. “Over the years we have developed a deeper understanding of the city's infrastructure goals and objectives, allowing us to improve the daily transit experience of the citizens of Roswell through high-quality engineering solutions. We hope to continue our support of the city’s transportation improvements through these standby engineer design services.”
GS&P has completed numerous projects for the city of Roswell and the Georgia Department of Transportation that include the Grimes Bridge Road/Norcross Street Roundabout, the preliminary design of the SR 9 Historic Gateway project, and intersection improvements at Alpharetta Highway and Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.
