HOUSTON, TX — National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS) announces the opening of a new branch operation in Orlando, Florida, and the relocation of its Tampa, Florida, branch operation.

Orlando Operation

“Orlando is a diverse construction market that has shown strong growth trends and is forecasted to continue to grow over the next few years,” said Ron Chilton, President of NTS. “In addition to being a very attractive market, Orlando allows us to strengthen our position in the Florida market with locations already in Tampa and Miami.”

Kevin Chandler, an experienced trench safety professional, will manage the Orlando branch.

“We are excited that Kevin is leading this cold start operation,” Chilton said. “Kevin is a seasoned trench safety manager with a wealth of experience in the Florida market. He has already begun building a strong team for the branch that will position NTS as the premier trench and traffic safety supplier in the Orlando market.”

The Orlando branch is the 27th branch location for NTS in the United States. In maintaining its objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open several additional branch locations in 2016.

Tampa Relocation

NTS relocated its existing Tampa branch to a new facility located at 8108 U.S. Highway 301 North, which provides direct highway frontage as well as convenient interstate access. The new operation will feature upgraded office and shop facilities positioned on 3.1 acres.

“This is an exciting move for our Tampa team,” said Chilton. “Over the last year, our Tampa team has made significant market share gains and we’re fortunate to be able to expand our operations in the market. The new location is an impressive facility and will feature a large, modern training room, which will allow us to focus on increasing outreach training in the market. The new location will provide more convenient access to our facility for customers picking up and dropping off equipment, as well as operational improvements. It really is an impressive facility and one that we’ve had our eye on for a while. It’s an ideal facility for our business as it provides great highway visibility and will provide immediate operational efficiency improvements.”
