ATLANTA, GA — CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA) announces that John Hensley has joined the firm as its new Transportation Group Executive. Hensley will oversee CHA's initiatives to enhance the United States' transportation infrastructure by providing design and planning solutions for bridges, highways, rail and traffic. Most recently, Hensley served as the Environment Business President at ARCADIS where he held several executive leadership positions throughout a career spanning more than 30 years with the company. During that time, he successfully led the development of new business strategies and managed operations for the company's national transportation infrastructure business.

"John's technical experience and vast market knowledge will bring tremendous value to our Transportation Group and to the overall CHA business," said Mike Carroll, CEO, CHA Consulting, Inc. "But more importantly, John's leadership skills and people focus will allow him to make significant contributions to the entire company. I count CHA as fortunate to be able to add his leadership to our executive team."

"I am really excited to be part of a great team at CHA. I look forward to shaping the strategic direction of the Transportation Group by broadening and diversifying the business technically and geographically with a focus on long term staff development and professional growth," said Hensley.

Hensley received his civil engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and he later earned an MBA from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. He is a registered professional engineer in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi.
