NASHVILLE, TN — Brasfield & Gorrie announces the opening of the company’s relocated Nashville, Tennessee, office in 1201 Demonbreun, a new office tower Brasfield & Gorrie recently constructed for Eakin Partners on the corner of 12th Avenue S. and Demonbreun Street in Nashville’s bustling Gulch neighborhood.
“This building is destined to enhance the Nashville skyline for many years, and our team takes pride in having constructed our new home,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Vice President Clay Bright. “While this location offers numerous positive benefits, our employees will especially appreciate the easy access to the interstate highways and proximity to amenities in the Gulch and downtown area.”
With custom features and touches that create an industrial feel, Brasfield & Gorrie’s new 20,000-square-foot office features a partial open concept with minimal private offices, shipping containers converted into meeting spaces, a breakroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Gulch and downtown Nashville.
The move to 1201 Demonbreun follows the firm’s recent completion of the 15-story, 285,000-square-foot high-rise designed by Hastings Architecture Associates. With ten floors of office space above a 950-space parking deck, the building also features street-level retail and restaurant space. Equipped with an amenity deck and a workout facility, the office tower appeals to tenants who want to encourage their employees’ health, collaboration and work-life balance.
Brasfield & Gorrie also completed interior build-outs for several of 1201 Demonbreun’s tenants in addition to the firm’s own office space on the building’s second floor.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the project achieved LEED® Silver certification.
The new tower is one of many prominent projects Brasfield & Gorrie has completed in Nashville, where the company has worked for nearly four decades and established an office in 1998. The company’s most iconic projects in the area include the “Batman Building,” SunTrust Plaza, Encore Condominiums, an expansion and renovation of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Roundabout Plaza, Caterpillar Financial Center, Centennial Medical Center Heart Tower, the Omni Hotel Nashville, and The Pinnacle at Symphony Place. In total, the company has completed more than 200 projects in the area that have a combined value of nearly $2 billion.
Currently, Brasfield & Gorrie is constructing the new Bridgestone Americas Headquarters, among numerous other Nashville projects.
