DOWAGIAC, MI Mno-Bmadsen announces the establishment of Seven Generations Construction, LLC, and reports that Robert J. Farkas has joined the firm as President. Farkas is responsible for the ground-up development of construction project delivery systems across all vertical markets and all in-house performance contracting entities.

"Bob's addition to our team represents a significant expansion of our services and capabilities," said Troy Clay, Chief Executive Officer at Mno-Bmadsen. "He has a depth of experience in the design-build delivery model that will enable us to add a valuable dimension to Seven Generations' overall operation. The company will now include design-build, construction management at risk, general construction and self-performing general trades as client offerings."

Farkas will lead construction management, general construction and design-build project delivery. His experience managing complex programs in the commercial, educational, governmental, and institutional sectors adds new facets and strength to the Seven Generations' team and expands their service offering. Farkas will support business development efforts across all Mno-Bmadsen businesses specific to the construction industry including federal, state, and municipal markets, leveraging the company's tribal status and culture into a successful client-centered business unit. Farkas will begin with a focus on Midwest operations from offices in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the new main office in South Bend, Indiana.

"To be able to instantly expand the Seven Generations AE service offerings is an exciting opportunity," said Farkas. "To be back in South Bend among some of the industry's best contractors has been a personal goal for a few years. With the start-up construction group we will focus on building client relationships as solid as the structures we put up. We are assembling a team of professional and tradespeople and will hit the ground running this spring."

Farkas attended Ball State University before settling in at Purdue University to pursue a degree in civil engineering. Before joining Seven Generations Construction, Farkas served as Project Executive and the Manager of Field Operations for Wight & Company in Darien, Illinois. .

Farkas led Wight's Indiana business from South Bend, maintaining a constant presence on projects throughout the state for more than a decade. Prior to that, he spent eight years in progressive roles with Walsh Construction before establishing Terra Group, Inc., as a general construction and construction management entity based in New Buffalo, Michigan. Earlier in his career, Farkas was with Terra Group, Inc. where he provided construction services to local government and private business entities throughout northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan.
