Barton Malow Announces Vice President Promotions

SOUTHFIELD, MI Â Barton Malow, a leader in construction services across North America, announces promotions of three key leaders. This continues their commitment to their core purpose - Building with the American Spirit: People, Projects and Communities.
Steve Freed has been promoted from Senior Project Director to Vice President. Freed will focus on leading Barton Malow's Risk Review program. He joined Barton Malow in 2005 and has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. During his tenure at Barton Malow, Freed has worked on multiple programs for DTE Energy, General Motors and AK Steel.
Matt Lentini has been promoted from Senior Project Director to Vice President. Lentini has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, beginning his career as a Millwright with Local Equipment 1102. He brings his broad experience to automotive, industrial and energy markets. Beginning his career with Barton Malow in 1998, he has served many long-term clients including DTE Energy, Consumers Energy and FCA North America. As an officer, Lentini will continue to focus on key client programs as well as build new relationships with clients in the automotive and installation markets.
Jon Woodsum has been promoted from Director to Vice President of Systems. Woodsum joined Barton Malow as a LEAPS intern in 1999 and upon graduation from the University of Michigan, worked on a variety of energy and automotive projects. In his new role, He will continue to lead Systems and will be charged with expanding Barton Malow's focus on the development and application of new technologies.
