Rehmann Welcomes Chang and Bannasch

ANN ARBOR, MI  Stephen Chang, CPA, has been named Senior Manager of Rehmann's Audit and Assurance Department and Michael Bannasch, CPA, MST, joins Rehmann as a State and Local Tax Senior Manager.

In his new role with the firm, Chang will serve commercial clients. Prior to joining Rehmann, Chang was Assurance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Technical Accounting Manager at Chrysler Group LLC. He began his public accounting career in 2002.

"We are fortunate to have Stephen join the audit and assurance team," said Rehmann Principal Ryan Krause, CPA. "His accounting and industry knowledge will be a great asset to Rehmann's clients."

Chang holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from University of Toledo and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

He will be based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but serve as a firm-wide resource, providing consulting services to help clients minimize tax and manage risk.

Prior to his new role, Bannasch served as a Tax Manager with a local accounting firm. He began his public accounting career in 2001 and has served clients in a variety of industries.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and business administration from Spring Arbor University, Bannasch holds a Master of Science degree in taxation from Grand Valley State University. He belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
