Mill Steel Co. Appoints Seasoned Commercial Salesmen to Expand into Other Coated Flat-rolled Customer Segments

GRAND RAPIDS, MI Mill Steel Co., one of the nation's largest distributors of flat-rolled carbon steel, announces the addition of Sales Account Managers Jeff Goode and Mike Polansky to its Building Products Division commercial team. The appointment of Goode and Polansky will be a key factor in Mill Steel expanding its product offerings into the painted and corrosion resistant entry-overhead door and canopy markets.
Combined, Goode and Polansky bring more than 65 years of experience in the painted metals market from an impressive tenure with other steel service center groups serving these customer segments. Each have a unique skillset, but both share the ability to build solid commercial relationships and consistently deliver the high-touch service Mill Steel prides itself on.
As part of this expansion Mill Steel will establish a commercial sales office in Atlanta, Georgia, and have the ability to service customers in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Mid-South, and Southern United States with the support of Mill Steel's network of processing and stocking locations.
