STERLING HEIGHTS, MI Roncelli, Inc., a Michigan headquartered construction company celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, announces that it has received certification as a Detroit-Based Business (DBB) by the city of Detroit, Michigan. This certification means that using Roncelli satisfies the city of Detroit's Executive Order No. 2014-5, which requires that certain Detroit supported contracts be awarded to 30 percent Detroit Based Businesses.

The Detroit Based Business Certification is granted only to firms that demonstrate significant operations, personnel and office space in the city of Detroit.  The Detroit Business Certification Program is an important component of the economic revitalization of Detroit. Roncelli, Inc. relocated its Detroit operations to the Guardian Building last year in support of these efforts.

Roncelli, Inc.'s Detroit presence is led by Gino Roncelli, Principal, who is also a resident of Detroit himself. Roncelli commented that, "The certification reflects our company's continued investment in Detroit, and we are excited to be recognized as a Partner in the efforts to revitalize the City. Moving was an easy decision that just made sense for us, and for the service of our Detroit and Wayne County based clients."

In addition to Gino Roncelli, the company's efforts to strengthen its presence in Detroit is also headed by Ehrlich Crain, Business Development and Diversity Leader. Crain noted that "in addition to the service of our clients, continued investment in Detroit opens more opportunities for diversity and the utilization of Detroit businesses and Detroit residents on our projects, each being strategic goals that make us a better firm."  Crain achieves these goals through Roncelli's diversity program.

The Detroit office adds to Roncelli, Inc.'s list of locations that include its corporate headquarters in Sterling Heights, Michigan, its Canadian operations center located in London, Ontario, and its Mexico operations center located in San Luis Potosi.
