Hobbs+Black Architects Announce Promotions

ANN ARBOR, MI Hobbs+Black Architects announces the promotions of Wayne E. Chubb, Tom Dillenbeck, and Dan Pierce in their Ann Arbor, Michigan, office.
Wayne E. Chubb, AIA, NCARB to Senior Vice President (Ann Arbor)
Chubb's management of large retail projects, and his understanding of contractual requirements coupled with a personable demeanor wins him the trust and respect of clients and coworkers alike. Chubb has distinguished himself through his dedication of more than 18 years at Hobbs+Black, his service to his clients, and his long-term commitment to excellent work. He recently led the teams that completed The Mall of San Juan in Puerto Rico and Restoration Hardware Galleries in Colorado and Florida. Currently he is involved in the major renovation and expansion of The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee; Northwood Retail Center in Royal Oak, Michigan; and several Restoration Galleries throughout the country.
Tom Dillenbeck, AIA to Vice President (Ann Arbor)
Dillenbeck has been with the Hobbs+Black Healthcare studio for 10 years and provides studio leadership for projects in the Midwest. He has been managing large scale projects including Sparrow Health Center Lansing, Sparrow Ionia Hospital, Southwest Tower Addition at St. Mary Mercy Livonia, University of Michigan Northville Health Center, Beaumont Taylor Surgical Addition and Beaumont Trenton Pavilion Tower Addition. Dillenbeck has also been instrumental in developing the Senior Living portfolio, including the hospital adaptive reuse at American House Grosse Pointe at Cottage and the new First & Main Senior Living Centers across the country.
Dan Pierce, AIA to Associate (Ann Arbor)
Pierce began at Hobbs+Black in March of 2015. He is a seasoned Project Manager with a Master of Architecture from the University of Arizona. At Hobbs+Black he applies his experience with retail, residential, office, historic preservation, and planning to a range of different sized projects. Pierce has played an integral part on projects including The Mall at Partridge Creek, the Lamasoft new retail space, Renovation of the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and the Restoration Hardware Gallery at the Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee.
