GARNER, IA Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. (IMT), an Oshkosh Corporation company, announced support for the city of Garner, Iowa, through a $12,000 donation toward playground equipment for the new Reichardt Park. The donation was pledged through the city's Vision Committee, which works to improve the quality of life for Garner residents through public works projects.

Jim Hasty, IMT General Manager, Amy Brownlee, Director of Finance, and Bill O'Leary, Senior Human Resources Manager, presented the donation check to Garner Mayor Ken Mick, Parks and Recreation Director Sarah Swanson, and City Council member Deb Schmidt. Installation of the playground equipment is expected to start in late spring or early summer.

"IMT is proud to call Garner our home, and we feel it's important to support initiatives that provide long-term benefits for our community," Hasty said. "We're pleased that our donation will be used to help provide an enjoyable place for children and families to spend time together."

The city's Vision Committee has been working on the park project with the Garner Parks and Recreation department. The collaboration worked to choose the location of the playground equipment, and ultimately decided on Reichardt Park. Located in the southeast corner of town, the park is housed within a large residential area
