S.M. Wilson Adds Four Construction Professionals to Its Staff

ST. LOUIS, MO  S.M. Wilson & Co. adds four construction professionals to its growing staff. Keith Robertson as a Senior Estimator, Jeff Shepherd as a Project Engineer, Kelly Santacruz as a Job Accountant/Project Assistant, and Perry Lorts as an Electrical Superintendent.
Robertson will be instrumental in assembling cost estimates, developing constructability reviews and value engineering studies, overseeing the bidding process, and soliciting MBE/WBE subcontractor participation for projects. He has 35 years of construction industry experience and holds Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth and is pursuing an MBA from Fontbonne University.
Shepherd will be responsible for helping establish procedures with the design professionals, consultants and owner of projects for information flow, approvals, meetings, and reporting. He will also track shop drawings, submittals, material deliveries and RFI"Ëœs through the duration of projects and assist the project manager with MBE/WBE participation and workforce inclusion. Shepherd has eight years of construction industry experience and holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, Illinois.
Santacruz will be responsible for supporting project teams by providing all administrative duties necessary to successfully complete projects, such as obtaining insurance certificates, processing contracts and change orders, maintaining purchase order data, and preparation of meeting minutes. She has 10 years of construction industry experience, and has studied at St. Louis Community College and the University of Missouri - Columbia, Missouri.
Lorts will be responsible for guiding and managing the on-site activities of all electrical subcontractors and suppliers on projects, as well as monitoring safety programs, quality control, and installation of all electrical systems. He has 33 years of construction industry experience and studied at University of Missouri - Rolla, Missouri, and Lewis & Clark College.
