CEDAR RAPIDS, IA  Altorfer Inc. announces Jon Skrivseth as Machine Sales Representative for Altorfer's Construction Division in the Quad Cities. Skrivseth will serve customers and represent the full Caterpillar product line for Altorfer in Scott, Muscatine, Rock Island, and Mercer counties.

Skrivseth grew up in Preston, Iowa, and later attended the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and minored in psychology. Following college, Skrivseth gained experience in advertising and insurance and most recently covered a 15 county sales territory for a local competitive construction dealership.

"We are excited to bring Jon on board," said Trevor Shanahan, General Sales Manager for Altorfer's Construction Division. "His eager attitude and extensive construction sales experience will be a great asset for our dealership."

Skrivseth replaces Sales Representative Chase Lang, who recently moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to accept the position of Used Equipment Buyer/Seller for Altorfer.
