MC Industrial Welcomes Furman as Business Development Consultant

ST. LOUIS, MO MC Industrial, Inc., an independent McCarthy company, welcomes AEC industry veteran Steve Furman of Tompkins, Furman & Associates, Inc., as Business Development Consultant. Furman will represent MC Industrial in business development and strategic sales for the greater Kansas City, Missouri, region, spanning from eastern Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and western Iowa.
MC Industrial was recently awarded a new project with Thermal Engineering International (a Babcock Power, Inc. company) and Kansas City Power & Light, supporting the firm's plans to serve clients in Kansas City and the surrounding states. Based in Kansas City, Furman has more than 35 years in the industry and region, bringing valuable market insight, strategic relationships, and technical sales to his new role representing MC Industrial.

As a technical sales expert in energy, oil and gas, and heavy industrial, Furman serves as President of Tompkins, Furman & Associates, Inc. as a Business and Sales Consultant for contractors and OEM's nationwide. Furman holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University. He is a Certified Professional Engineer and also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
