CEDAR RAPIDS, IA Star Equipment, Ltd. wants to introduce the newest member of our sales team, Alex Covington. Covington will be the Southeast Iowa Territory Manager. In this new position, he will professionally manage all sales efforts in southeast Iowa.  

Covington previously served in sales as an Outside Sales Representative for Fastenal in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he managed 60 accounts for two years. 

"We are excited to have Alex as a member of the Star team," said Brad Bowman, Vice President. "His desire to help customers and experience in sales are a great fit for Star. Alex will continue Star's growth and success by increasing the region's knowledge of our portion of the construction industry."

He encompasses the "Iowa Values" as he was born in Cedar Rapids and grew up in Ely, Iowa. Currently, Covington and his fiancé due to wed in April 2017, reside in Cedar Rapids with their three children. Star believes Covington will be a great asset and hope Star's customers look forward to meeting him.
