IRMCA and ICPA Announce New Executive Director

ANKENY, IA The Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association (IRMCA) and Iowa Concrete Paving Association (ICPA) announces Greg Mulder, PE, as the new Executive Director of both associations.
Founded in 1949 and 1963 respectively, the IRMCA and ICPA serve Iowans as a vast resource for concrete construction technical information, research, training for the concrete industry, and promotion of the best material used to construct structures and pavements for Iowa's infrastructure.
In addition to overall operational responsibility for the organization, Mulder will focus on promotion and engineering design aimed at improving concrete longevity and performance. Mulder succeeds Gordon Smith, who will retire in late 2017. Mulder most recently was Iowa DOT's State Construction and State Materials Engineer where he was part of the organization's executive management team and led the oversight of the DOT's construction administration for state and interstate construction projects along with materials testing and approvals. Mulder received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Iowa State University.
Mulder and his wife, Kerrie, along with their two sons reside in Huxley, Iowa. They enjoy being involved in the Ballard community, watching the Cyclones, and riding motorcycle across this great nation.
