SPRINGFIELD, MO Springfield, Missouri, was the place to be as Berry Tractor hosted an Open House at their branch location at 2060 North West Bypass, just off of Interstate Highway 44. "We wanted our customers to feel welcomed in our house," said Sean Buchanan, Director of Marketing for the Berry Companies, Inc., "and to meet some of the people behind the scenes as well as our field reps...Jason Baer and Beau Mathiason (Equipment Sales Reps) and Brian Bettencourt (Product Support Sales Rep)." The Open House was preceded by a Greene County and surrounding area sales blitz led by Jon Berry, President of Berry Tractor.  "We went around the area shaking hands of our existing customers and introducing ourselves to new potential customers, personally inviting them all to the open house the next day," said Berry.

The Springfield Open House featured new and used equipment on display from Berry Tractor's many lines of equipment including Komatsu crawler dozers, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders and articulated trucks; Gradall excavators; Hensley attachments; BOMAG and Mauldin road building equipment; Superior Broom sweepers; plus mining and quarry equipment from Screen Machine. Employees from Berry Tractor were on hand to answer any questions that attendees might have regarding the equipment.

There were door prizes and giveaways and the Berry Tractor staff even did the cooking. Judging from the smiles and happy customers, it appeared as though the Open House was a huge success.

Berry Tractor & Equipment Co., a division of Berry Companies, Inc., was founded in 1958 and is the authorized Komatsu dealer for Springfield, Missouri and the rest of the southwest Missouri region. Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, Berry Tractor has, in addition to their Springfield location, two other branches in Garden City, Kansas and Topeka, Kansas.
