HNTB Names Hinkebein as Central Division President

KANSAS CITY, MO Keith Hinkebein, PE, has assumed the duties of Central Division president for HNTB Corporation, overseeing more than 500 employees in 15 locations across 11 states. 

Hinkebein has served in a variety of leadership roles in his 24 years with HNTB, most recently as chief sales officer leading a team focused on large-scale project pursuits across the country. Other leadership roles within the firm include Great Lakes Division President, Chief Operations Officer, Corporate Chief Delivery Officer, Division Operations Officer and St. Louis Office Leader.  

"Keith's leadership and deep understanding of operations within the firm will bring tremendous value to our Central Division and serve as a catalyst for growth," said Rob Slimp, Chairman and CEO, HNTB. "He clearly understands our clients' needs and has the insights to help them solve their biggest challenges in today's complex marketplace." 

Hinkebein's 30-year career includes program management of large highway facilities, location and feasibility studies and NEPA documentation. Additionally, he also has directed large municipal and rail projects. 

Hinkebein is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and served on the transportation and long-range planning committees for the Consulting Engineering Council. 

He holds both a Master of Science in engineering management and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
