Franzluebbers Selected as CIDQ Ambassador

OMAHA, NE Laura Franzluebbers, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C, Interior Designer in HDR's Omaha, Nebraska, architecture studio, was recently selected as an Ambassador for the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ). Franzluebbers is one of only two ambassadors in the State of Nebraska for the 2017-2018 program year.
As an ambassador for the CIDQ, which issues the NCIDQ exam and establishes standards of competence for the field, Franzluebbers will promote the value of the exam and the importance of NCIDQ certification. She will also mentor potential exam-takers and guide them through the process. In addition, she will engage a variety of audiences, especially students in the interior design program and recent graduates.
"I look forward to encouraging students and young designers to sit for the NCIDQ exam and to serve as a resource on their path to success," Franzluebbers said. "Achieving NCIDQ certification is an important professional accomplishment that ultimately brings more value to the interior design industry."
The CIDQ requires all ambassadors to provide feedback on their engagements, as well as to participate in annual training sessions to ensure that they're up-to-date on the current exam.
"We recognize the experience and knowledge that Ambassadors like Laura bring to our audiences," said Kimberly Woods, Executive Assistant of the CIDQ. "We're grateful to have individuals like her who are committed to furthering the interior design profession."
