ELMHURST, IL J.C. Anderson, Inc. announces that the firm has been selected to complete an office build-out and expansion for TechNexus at 20 N. Wacker Drive (Civic Opera Building) in Chicago, Illinois.

Founded in 2007, TechNexus is a startup incubator and collaborative ecosystem for Chicago's technology and business leaders. The firm hired J.C. Anderson, Inc. to complete a 9,000-square-foot expansion and renovation to their Chicago office space on the 12th floor of the Civic Opera Building. The project will include a complete build-out from raw space, as well as renovations to select areas in the existing space. Corridors, entrances, conference rooms, and private offices will be reconfigured and the space will receive new glazing and a new ceiling, combining acoustical and an open concept. Features of the new space will also include a new "speakeasy" lounge along with a new breakroom, mother's room, and ADA washrooms.

J.C. Anderson, Inc.'s Seth Erlich is the Senior Project Manager and Wight & Company is providing the architectural services.
