KBE Building Corp.'s Wolf Shares Benefits of BIM 360 at Hartford Breakfast

HARTFORD, CT Connecticut construction professionals got firsthand insight into the benefits of Microdesk's BIM 360 products during a breakfast and conversation featuring BIM Manager and MEP Specialist .
At the Hilton Hartford, Wolf explained to audience members how KBE has used BIM 360 Field and Glue products on key projects to help improve project workflows, reduce overall project costs, and keep teams connected from the field to the office.
"KBE has embraced BIM, and we've seen the benefits play out for a variety of projects," said Wolf. "It's great not only for streamlining tasks and reducing costs, but also for building positive relationships with clients and subs. The more information we have, the more efficiently we can complete the project, and that has the potential to translate into fast-tracked timelines and savings for our clients."
As BIM Manager, Wolf has overseen the use of BIM 360 products on a variety of KBE's high-profile projects, including the $60.5 million renovation and addition at J.M. Wright Technical High School, which was completed in August 2014. Wolf is also using BIM 360 on current projects including the Litchfield Courthouse in Torrington, Connecticut, and the STEM Residence Hall at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut.
