BOSTON, MA  BOND announces it will provide renovations to Suffolk University's oldest and first residence hall at 150 Tremont Street.

Directly adjacent to the Boston Common, 150 Tremont is considered to be an extremely visible and social campus building. BOND will rebuild common bathrooms on the fifth through 11th floors of the residence hall, and complete associated building systems upgrades.

Housing approximately 35 percent of Suffolk's resident student population, this project requires a fast-track schedule to be delivered by August well in advance of the 2015-2016 academic year. BOND will work closely with Suffolk, owner and project manager Hill International, and architect Isgenuity to complete the renovation with a strict focus on safety and schedule.

This project continues BOND's presence at the Suffolk campus, established in 2014 with the completion of interior renovations and cosmetic upgrades to the University's Sawyer Building on Ashburton Place. BOND also assisted with providing fire alarm upgrades within the building spaces being renovated.

BOND's strength in resolving complex logistical challenges associated with working in the heart of downtown Boston, Massachusetts, while maintaining an emphasis on student and building user safety, resulted in an extremely successful project for Suffolk. The 12-story Sawyer Building is located adjacent to the State office complex and courts in Beacon Hill. The building currently houses classrooms, offices, cafeteria, library and Suffolk University's Police Department.

"We are proud of our ongoing relationship with Suffolk University and are excited to begin upgrades to 150 Tremont," said Robert Murray, BOND President. "This project is designed to give a staple of this esteemed Boston campus a truly modern look and feel."
