BOSTON, MA  BOND announces that two core members of the firm have received promotions in support of the company's long-term strategy of growing and expanding its footprint throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Kane Cuddy has been promoted to Vice President, Civil Infrastructure and Operations, and Scott Churchill has been promoted to Vice President, Estimating and Business Development.

In his new role, Cuddy will continue to direct BOND operations as well as lead the company's Civil Infrastructure Business Unit. Cuddy will also be responsible for client and staff development.

Churchill, meanwhile, will develop a comprehensive business plan for BOND's Civil & Utility division, incorporating goals for each of its key business units: Electrical Transmission & Distribution; Gas Transmission & Distribution; Civil Infrastructure; and District Energy & Power Generation. His position will focus on developing strategies for procuring new work, partnering with clients to provide budgeting, value engineering, and constructability services.

A Wentworth Institute of Technology graduate, Cuddy has been with BOND since he was a Co-Op. He was an instrumental part of BOND's Middletown-Norwalk 345kV Underground Transmission team in Connecticut where he worked for three years. He went on to manage the Hoosac Wind and NSTAR Newton-West Roxbury Cooling Line projects. Most recently, as Director of Operations, Cuddy streamlined BOND's cost control systems, improved project management protocols, developed a better equipment maintenance and tracking system, managed BOND's training agenda and implemented several other corporate and divisional objectives.

Churchill joined BOND in 2002 and has served as a Project Engineer, Estimator, Senior Estimator, and, most recently, as Director of Strategic Project Development. Over the past year, he has developed a pipeline report process that tracks opportunities in the gas and electric transmission marketplace. Additionally, Churchill was instrumental in leading the BOND team to negotiate the Salem Harbor Power Project, the third largest project in the division's history.

Churchill has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University.

"BOND's plans for continued growth will be enhanced through the leadership of Kane and Scott," said Robert Murray, BOND President. "We know both will do a spectacular job of supporting our company's long-term strategy for the future."
