NORTH QUINCY, MA  Anthony Cavallaro, President of JACA Architects, announces the promotion of Matthew Tharp of Braintree, Massachusetts, to Associate. The promotion is a result of a recent reorganization within the 24-year-old firm; a restructuring intended to further strengthen JACA's focus on the exclusive design of facilities in the healthcare/medical industry.

Tharp, who joined JACA Architects more than five years ago and has nearly 16 years of industry experience, previously held the title of Project Manager. Prior to joining JACA he was with Elkus Manfredi in Boston, Massachusetts, and Martinez and Cutri in San Diego, California.

A graduate of Boston Architectural College with a bachelor's in architecture, Tharp is a Registered Architect in Massachusetts and holds membership in the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects.

Tharp is originally from San Diego, California; he now lives in Braintree, where in his spare time he enjoys cooking, swimming, and biking.

"It is with great pleasure that we announce Matt's promotion to Associate," said Cavallaro. "His industry experience, wide-ranging skills and general commitment to excellence are greatly appreciated within our organization."
