JACA Architects promotes John Fowler to Associate Principal
NORTH QUINCY, MA Anthony Cavallaro, President of JACA Architects, announces the promotions of John Fowler of Quincy, Massachusetts, to Associate, and William R. Epp III of Middleborough, Massachusetts, to Associate Principal.
The promotion is a result of a recent reorganization within the 24-year-old firm; a restructuring intended to further strengthen JACA's focus on the exclusive design of facilities in the healthcare/medical industry.
Fowler, who joined JACA Architects nine years ago and has 18 years of industry experience, previously held the title of Associate. Prior to joining JACA he was with The McKenna Group Ltd. in Quincy as a Project Manager; previously he was a Designer with Payette in Boston, Massachusetts.
A graduate of Boston Architectural College with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Fowler is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, The American College of Healthcare Executives, United States Green Building Council, and The Center for Health Design.
Fowler is originally from Poughkeepsie, New York; he now lives in Quincy with his wife, Yun Kyung Chung, an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, and their son Rohan. He enjoys traveling the world at every available opportunity with his family.
"It is with great pleasure that we announce John's promotion to Associate Principal," said Cavallaro. "His industry experience, wide-ranging skills and general commitment to excellence are greatly appreciated within our organization."
Epp began his career in architecture 20 years ago when he joined JACA Architects. He was educated at Massasoit Community College and Boston Architectural College and a member of the New England Healthcare Engineers Society.
Originally from Taunton, Epp now lives in Middleborough. In his spare time he enjoys music, landscaping/design, and is an avid automotive enthusiast.
"We're delighted to announce Bill's promotion to Associate Principal," said Cavallaro. "His knowledge, dedication to the industry and overall commitment to excellence make him more than deserving of this new title."
