Builtech Continues Rapid Growth Plan with Two New Hires to Bolster Vertical Market Expansion
CHICAGO, IL Builtech Services LLC announces another expansion of its management team to bolster its growing industry verticals. With the appointment of industry veterans John Wilson to Senior Superintendent and Todd Hicks to Senior Project Manager, Builtech continues its aggressive plans for growth over the next three years by expanding opportunities across numerous markets, including corporate interiors, multi-unit residential, and hospitality.
Wilson, 41, will draw on his extensive industry expertise to oversee company growth and manage Builtech's continued market diversification by establishing opportunities in corporate interiors. Wilson has more than five million square feet of corporate interiors experience as a superintendent for clients including Wells Fargo, Zebra Technologies, Integrys Energy, Edelman, Houlihan Lokey, Akzo Nobel and Mintel. He most recently served for five years as Senior Superintendent of Hoffman Estates-based Leopardo Companies. He previously worked for ICM Inc. as a Senior Superintendent and at Amec Spie as a Superintendent. A native and current resident of Chicago, Illinois,' Beverly neighborhood, Wilson graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Business Management.
Hicks, 44, will serve as Senior Project Manager for Builtech Services. Hicks spent the past three years as a Project Manager for Lend Lease before a previous 11-year term as Project Manager for James McHugh Construction Company. Hicks has overseen a wide variety of projects including high-rise buildings, parking structures, restaurants and hotels. Clients include the Field Museum of Natural History, Information Resources, Inc., Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse, Northwestern University, Kimpton Hotels, Four Seasons Chicago, Renaissance Chicago, The Parking Spot, Chicago Scenic Studios, and The Franciscan Sisters of Chicago. A native of Graymont, Illinois, Hicks graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in construction management. He currently resides in Elmhurst, Illinois.
