Columbia Construction Company Expands With Five New Hires

NORTH READING, MA Columbia Construction Company welcomes five new hires to the firm. Katy Tassmer brings talent and experience as a Managing Director of Marketing; Cade Keyes joins as a Project Superintendent; Ed Hook brings hands-on knowledge as a Safety Manager, Erick Emmanuel serves as an Assistant Project Manager; and Ariana Marconnot joins Columbia's Interiors Division as a Project Administrator.
Katy Tassmer, Managing Director of Marketing
Tassmer joins Columbia Construction with more than 28 years of marketing, communications, and business development experience in the AEC industry. A well-organized leader and manager, Katy will be developing and implementing an overall corporate marketing strategy and directly engaging and managing the marketing team. She works closely with the firm's Principals to help guide Columbia's long-term strategic growth.
Cade Keyes, Project SuperintendentÂ
As a Project Superintendent with more than 10 years of experience, Keyes has diverse project experience that includes healthcare, education, science and technology, and commercial construction projects. He collaborates with owners, vendors, design teams, and trade partners to build relationships and deliver safe and successful projects. Â
Ed Hook, Safety Manager
Hook joins Columbia Construction with more than 10 year of experience managing job site safety plans and implementing company safety initiatives. He is currently working on Columbia Construction's Siemens Healthineer's project in Walpole, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Keene State College with a Bachelor of Science in environmental health and safety.
Erick Emmanuel, Assistant Project Manager
Emmanuel brings extensive experience working with diverse teams to manage construction demolition projects, lab equipment relocations, and infrastructure improvement projects. Â At Columbia Construction, he partners with Project Managers to keep projects on track and clear lines of communications open between subconsultants and owners.
Ariana Marconnot, Project AdministratorÂ
As a Project Administrator with Columbia's Interiors Division, Marconnot works closely with Columbia's Project Managers to manage documentation, including owner contracts and subcontractor insurance for a variety of projects.Â
