Dewberry Announces the Promotions of Hall and Mayer
FAIRFAX, VA Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announces the promotions of Bradley Hall, AIA, to Senior Principal and Carey Mayer, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, to Associate in the firm's Peoria, Illinois, office.
Hall is a Senior Project Manager with more than 40 years of experience in all phases of the architectural design processfrom pre-design, schematic design, and design development to construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. He provides building code reviews and coordination of architectural drawings with engineers for building layouts, constructability, mechanical systems, structural systems, and value engineering. Hall has extensive experience in correctional architecture, notably contributing to Lancaster Adult Detention Facility in Lincoln, Nebraska; the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center Expansion in Stanislaus County, California; the Mule Creek Infill Complex in Ione, California; and the San Diego Courthouse in San Diego, California.
Hall earned his associate's degree in applied science from United Technical Institute and is a registered architect in Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Utah, and Washington. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Correctional Association, the American Jail Association, the International Code Council, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Mayer has 22 years of experience in the design of county jails, state and federal correctional facilities, and court projects. As a Project Architect, she coordinates architectural and detention design elements, accessibility and other code reviews, development of project documentation, engineering systems integration, and project constructability. Mayer serves as the Sustainability Director in the Peoria office and coordinates LEED® certification for various projects.
She earned her Master of Architecture and a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Illinois. She is a registered architect in California and Illinois, a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
