Parametrix Hires Ashton and Stokes

BOISE, ID Parametrix hires Paul Ashton, PE, as a Senior Transportation Engineer based out of the firm's Boise, Idaho, office and hires Arthur Stokes, PE, as a Senior Electrical Engineer based out of the firm's Puyallup, Washington, office.
Ashton has 25 years of experience as a Design Engineer and Project Manager specializing in transportation engineering. At Parametrix, Ashton will be responsible for project management and business development.
Prior to joining Parametrix, Ashton was a Project Manager/Project Engineer at WHPacific, Inc. in Boise. He performed project management, engineering design, and construction management for highway and aviation projects in Idaho and eastern Oregon for many public agencies including Ada County Highway District, Idaho Transportation Department, Local Highway Technical Assistance Council, Canyon Highway District Number 4, Boise Airport, Nampa Airport, City of Caldwell, Malheur County, and Oregon Department of Aviation.
Stokes has 26 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer. He has prepared and presented electrical, instrumental, and control recommendations and designs to various clients throughout the Puget Sound area and along the West Coast. At Parametrix, Stokes will be responsible for project management and business development. He is currently working for the city of Puyallup on a SCADA system upgrade project as well as the city of Auburn, Washington, Well Chlorination SCADA Enhancement.
Prior to joining Parametrix, Stokes was an Electrical Resource Manager at Kennedy Jenks in Federal Way, Washington. There he managed electrical personnel in four offices. He worked on Electrical, Instrumentation and Control projects such as Chambers Creek WWTP and Longview Mint Farm Regional WTP. Prior to Kennedy Jenks, Stokes worked at Parker Messana & Associates managing the local electrical group and was involved in numerous Industrial projects in the northwest.
