Skanska Promotes Fisher to Vice President of Business Development

PORTLAND, OR Skanska, one of the world's leading construction and development firms, has promoted Jeff Fisher to Vice President of Business Development for Skanska's building operations in Oregon and southwest Washington.

"Since he moved into a business development role a year ago, Jeff has successfully collaborated with our local operations team to build relationships and secure new projects," said Skanska Executive Vice President and General Manager James Link. "He has worked tirelessly to further enhance our connections with the Portland business community."

Fisher, who joined Skanska in 1995, has a deep understanding of customers' evolving needs and how best to align Skanska's services to meet those needs. In his new role, Fisher will continue to create strategies for customer engagement and satisfaction throughout Skanska's key business lines in his region, ranging from education and aviation to commercial, manufacturing facilities and more.

Fisher's business development work is informed by years of operations experience and direct management oversight for various Skanska project teams. His high profile projects comprise work for Portland State University, Nike Inc., Oregon Institute of Technology, Eastern Oregon University, the city of Hillsboro, Oregon, Sky Lakes Medical Center, numerous confidential high tech clients, and the city of Happy Valley, Oregon. He has been involved in all facets of construction and has experience in a variety of delivery methods. Fisher is a LEED accredited professional.

Fisher holds bachelor's degrees in business administration and construction management from Washington State University.
