Malson Joins MC Industrial as Estimating Director

ST. LOUIS, MO MC Industrial, Inc., an independent McCarthy company, recently welcomed Michael Malson to the firm's St. Louis, Missouri, office as Estimating Director. Malson will lead the coordination of structural, mechanical and electrical estimators during the estimating preparation for major project bids.

"Michael is a consummate professional with a deep resume in commercial and industrial construction," said Tom Felton, President of MC Industrial. "Combined with his immense knowledge of the market landscape and self-perform estimating, he will make an immediate impact on our business and provide our clients with the most cost-effective construction plans."

Along with managing the estimating and preconstruction phase, Malson will provide costing support for change order analysis and subcontract negotiation during the construction phase. Additionally, his capabilities in change management, as well as identifying project scope changes, contractual issues and site conditions, will add value to client projects in order to optimize cost, schedule and productivity plans.

As an industry veteran, Malson holds extensive leadership experience with more than 27 years in commercial and industrial construction. Prior to MC Industrial, he led estimating, engineering and scheduling teams for major contractors, including Alberici, JE Dunn and Black and Veatch. Malson received a Bachelor of Science in construction science from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
