Construction Industry Training Council of Washington Begins Construction on new Marysville Facility

BELLEVUE, WA Construction Industry Training Council of Washington (CITC) has begun renovation of its new, 26,660 square-foot facility in Marysville, Washington. Located at 3506 124th St. NE, the facility will provide an important satellite for students from north Seattle to the Canadian border. 

"CITC is expanding to deliver state of the art training to meet the industry's workforce development demands," said Halene Sigmund, CITC President and CEO.  "Our goal is to help bridge the skilled workforce gap in the construction industry by delivering top notch training to those who want a career in this industry.

The new facility will house plumbing, electrical, carpentry, laborers programs when it opens in October of 2017. The new facility will be the fifth in Washington where there are currently programs in Bellevue, Washington, Vancouver, Washington, Pasco, Washington, and Spokane, Washington.

Alegis Construction, Inc. is the general contractor and Darcy Tsujikawa is the project manager.
