Kelton Named to American Heart Association's Greater Phoenix Board of Directors

PHOENIX, AZ  Justin Kelton, Executive Vice President of McCarthy Building Companies Inc., has been named to the Greater Phoenix Board of Directors for the American Heart Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
McCarthy Building Companies has a long-standing relationship with the American Heart Association on a national level and employee teams all across the country participate in the organization's annual Heart Walk. In addition, McCarthy has been recognized as a platinum-level "Fit-Friendly Worksite" by the American Heart Association for helping employees incorporate wellness into their lives at work and at home.

"Having Justin join the board of our local American Heart Association chapter aligns with that commitment. Justin is a proven leader with the desire to see our fellow employees improve their wellness and the quality of their lives."
Kelton joined McCarthy in 2001 after serving as a U.S. Marine, and he has received several promotions over the past decade. He earned a Civil and Environmental Certificate from Vermont Technical College. He is a board member for the Arizona Builders' Alliance and the Support Sky Harbor Coalition. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Western Maricopa Coalition. He also participates in McCarthy Heart Hats, the volunteer-based community outreach arm of McCarthy Building Companies that includes McCarthy employees and their family members who support the communities in which they live, work, and play by volunteering for community projects and fundraising efforts.
