A&P Celebrates with the Parker Community at Grand Reopening of Parker Recreation Center

PARKER, CO Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) joins the town of Parker, Colorado, Sink Combs Dethlefs, and community members to celebrate the grand reopening of Parker's Recreation Center.
During the recreation center expansion project, A&P removed the exterior walls in the existing natatorium, along with the existing in-line roller hockey rinks, and the existing ballasted roofing.
The space received new amenities, including a therapy pool, additional lap lanes, family changing rooms, a children's party room, classrooms, childcare rooms, and a fitness studio. A&P also constructed a new leisure pool with a zero-depth pool, lazy river, new waterslide, and an aquatic climbing wall and water play features.
Renovations to the mechanical systems, parking lots, roof, locker rooms, gymnasium, reception area and lobby gave the recreation center a fresh look while meeting functional needs.
Mayor Mike Waid opened the recreation center with a ribbon cutting and a few words from project team members, including Dave Gobo and Randy Berner, both from A&P. After the Mayor slid his way down the new leisure pool slide, the Town opened the Recreation Center to the community.
