SCOTTSDALE, AZ  PM Environmental hires Bob Drake as Senior Consultant and Regional Manager of its Scottsdale, Arizona, -based operations. The addition of Drake will continue to solidify PM's western expansion. Drake comes to PM with more than 30 years of national public- and private-sector service in various areas of the environmental profession including environmental chemistry, waste treatment, remediation compliance, permitting, and due diligence, among others.

Drake will help grow and manage PM's western market. Throughout his career, Drake has successfully leveraged his deep business relationships throughout the U.S. to establish strategic partnerships and grow business.

For the past 15 years, Drake owned Western States Environmental, LLC, a client-based consulting firm that provided Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for several FHA multifamily projects. The firm also provided regulatory compliance audits for a number of commercial/industrial facilities, and conducted remediation and Brownfield projects as well as asbestos, lead-paint and radon surveys.

The firm staffed up to six professionals, had a client list of more than 100 companies, and completed projects spanning from Atlanta, Georgia, to Whidbey Island, Washington, to San Ysidro, California, to Cleveland, Ohio, and to Kaui and Maui, Hawaii.

Drake has extensive experience with Phase I & II ESAs, asbestos and radon surveys, noise analyses, NEPA compliance, vapor intrusion assessment, underground storage tank investigations and closures, groundwater monitoring programs, compliance audits, and permit applications/renewals.

"I love a challenge and I'm excited to take my experience and apply it to new projects," said Drake.

Drake will enhance PM's team of experts who have in-depth experience in managing environmental projects, building facilities and energy projects with a constant focus on helping our clients clearly understand their risks, allowing them to make sound, well-informed business decisions.

"We are thrilled to have Bob join the team," said PM CEO Mike Kulka. "He is an industry veteran with a well-established client base and deep understanding of affordable housing and governmental agencies. His skill-set and experience will help PM continue to fully service its clients in the region."

PM is set to open a new office space in Scottsdale within the next month.
