SkyHouse Denver Officially Tops Off

DENVER, CO A ceremony was held at the SkyHouse Denver project in Denver, Colorado, in celebration of the development reaching its final height. SkyHouse Denver broke ground in February and has been under construction at 18th and Broadway. Concrete work is taking place on the 26th and final floor.
Novare Group, Simpson Housing and Batson-Cook Development Company are the developers of SkyHouse Denver. Swinerton is serving as the general contractor.
A lunch was held to celebrate this milestone and recognize the hard work that men and woman have put forth in building this structure.
"Thank you to all of you for all of the trade work you have done here," said Jim Borders, President, Novare Group. "Before we started on this project there is a whole bunch of paper work that gets pushed around - there are contracts and specs and permits. At the end of that we need talented and highly skilled construction workers. You come here before the break of dawn to make this vision a reality. As you drive by this building years from now you will look and see what you have done here and will be very proud of that. I certainly will be."
SkyHouse Denver will feature 354 apartments ranging from studio to two-bedrooms and 6,900 square feet of street-level retail space. The signature SkyHouse on the top floor of the building includes a clubroom, swimming pool and fitness center. The structure will also include vehicle charging stations and a dog walk with a dog washing station. The building is targeting millennials who are choosing to live in urban centers close to public transportation, employment centers and entertainment venues.
SkyHouse Denver is 1 of 17 other SkyHouse-branded projects located across the United Sates. These projects total more than $1.2 billion in development. SkyHouse Denver is slated to open to residents in August of 2016.
