Colorado Engineers Recognized with Special Honors at the American Council of Engineering Companies National Fall Conference

DENVER, CO Three members of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Colorado received special honors at the ACEC National Fall Conference, which was held in Boston, Massachusetts.
ACEC National Chairman and Chairman of Merrick & Company Ralph Christie, PE, was elected to the ACEC College of Fellows headquartered in Washington, D.C. As a Fellow, Christie is among a distinguished class of engineers who have been selected by their peers as deserving recognition for exemplary contributions to the engineering profession.
Lauren Evans, PE, President of Pinyon Environmental, Inc., was inducted to the Order of the Engineer (OOE), a national organization dedicated to upholding the standards and dignity of the engineering profession. OOE emphasizes pride, individual integrity, and responsibility in the engineering profession, and members receive a silver ring that serves as a visible symbol identifying an engineer to the public.
Jessica Garcia, PE, a Lighting Engineer at Clanton & Associates, Inc., was among five engineers who were recognized by ACEC as 2015 Young Professionals of the Year. This honor recognizes the talents and abilities of young engineers who are advancing the consulting engineering profession and whose contributions are significantly impacting society.
