CTL|Thompson Adds Structural Engineering Expertise in Fort Collins Office

FORT COLLINS, CO  CTL|Thompson, a full-service geotechnical, structural, environmental and materials engineering firm, hires Structural Engineer Scott Hargrove to join its Fort Collins, Colorado, office, to support its growing structural engineering department.

With more than 10 years of experience in residential, commercial and industrial structural/civil design, Hargrove brings additional expertise to the Fort Collins division of the award-winning firm.

"Scott brings a wider breadth of expertise to the firm that will support our long-standing clients while also providing our northern divisions with the ability to serve new clients," said CTL Fort Collins Branch Manager Wayne Thompson.

In addition to adding to the structural engineering team in CTL's Fort Collins and Wyoming offices, Hargrove's substantial expertise in residential design and construction for mountain communities will support CTL's range of services in its Summit County and Glenwood Springs, Colorado, offices.

Before joining CTL, Hargrove served as a Structural Engineer with Tetra Tech Inc., also in Fort Collins. Prior to that, he was a Structural Engineer with Crested Butte, Colorado, -based Resource Engineering Group Inc. Hargrove earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and will be completing his Master of Science in structural engineering at the University of Colorado-Denver, in 2016.
