Saunders Adds Two Senior Leaders to Executive Team

CENTENNIAL, CO Saunders Construction, Inc., one of the top general contractors in Colorado, announces the addition of two key leadership roles to its executive team - ensuring continued growth and market presence in northern Colorado and success on several of its high profile projects currently underway in metro Denver, Colorado.
Dave Sandlin, formerly a Saunders Project Executive, took over as Vice President of Fort Collins, Colorado, -based Heath Construction, LLC, where he will lead the company in conjunction with current President, Randy DeMario. In 2014, Saunders Construction partnered with Heath Construction to create a new construction solutions provider in the northern Colorado market - one that leverages Saunders' experience and resources with Heath's local relationships and résumé.
Recognized for countless award-winning projects, Heath's broad portfolio features work for many of the educational, commercial and municipal institutions that drive the Northern Colorado economy. Heath's determination to deliver exceptional service and competitive pricing on every project has led to long-standing relationships with local business leaders.

Additionally, Saunders continues to grow its team in the Denver metro area. Justin Cooper joins Saunders as Vice President of Project Development and will be involved in several of the company's high profile projects in the metro area, including the redevelopment of 9th and Colorado, 1709 Chestnut and The Colorado Health Foundation. Cooper's experience will enhance the company's project development capabilities and will ensure Saunders maintains its strong track record of on-time, high quality construction. He excels at integrating teams to deliver innovative solutions with purpose and tangible results on complex projects.

Headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, Saunders Construction has over 400 employees and is currently working on more than projects, valued from $1 million to $150 million in construction costs, in Colorado as well as several other surrounding states.
Some of the most notable projects currently underway include:
AHEC Library - a complicated, multi-phase renovation to the main library on the Auraria Campus that that reflects Saunders focus on higher education.17th and Chestnut - this $150 million development near Confluence Park in Denver is the largest project for Saunders to date and will include 500 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail space upon completion.Dairy Block - The Dairy Block is a mixed-use office, retail and hospitality development along Wazee Street between 18th and 19th streets, on the historic Denver Windsor Dairy Block in LoDo. The project broke ground on May 11, 2015 and will feature 260,000 sq. ft. of office space, a hotel and a mix of restaurant, retail and lobby spaces on the ground floor.Sidney Regional Medical Center -This recently completed 124,000-square-foot medical facility is located in Sidney, Nebraska. The new facility has addressed the growing healthcare needs in the southern panhandle of Nebraska and neighboring communities.
Saunders Headquarters - Saunders is building its own office headquarters in south metro Denver and is scheduled to break ground this spring with an expected completion date of early 2017. Their newly launched development services extension will be developing the 20,000 square feet of office space.
