Dewberry Welcomes the Expertise of Heintzman

FAIRFAX, VA Dewberry announces that Daniel Heintzman, PE, joins the firm's Denver, Colorado, office as a Senior Project Manager. He will support the firm's water-related services.
As an environmental engineer with more than 36 years of experience, Heintzman has extensive knowledge of public health policies and will be responsible for managing water-related projects in Colorado. Prior to joining Dewberry, he served with the U.S. Navy and retired as a Captain. Heintzman then went on to work for the U.S. Public Health Service, where he helped develop policy for the Environmental Protection Agency for the Safe Drinking Water Act. He retired after 30 years of government service.

Heintzman earned his master and bachelor degrees in civil engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He is a professional engineer in Colorado, Montana, and Texas, as well as a board certified environmental engineer. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation, the American Water Works Association, the National Groundwater Association, the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Military Officers Association of America.
