Novak Construction Fuels Its Gas Station Portfolio With New Ricky Rockets

MIDLOTHIAN, IL A previously weed-covered vacant lot is on its way to being home to a new Ricky Rockets Fuel Center on the northwest corner of 147th Street and Cicero Avenue that will include a gas station, 130-foot car wash tunnel and a convenience store, as well new retail space adjacent to the fuel center.
The groundbreaking celebration took place at 14640 Cicero Avenue and included notable attendees Mayor Sharon Rybak, Rick Heidner, and Eric Grabowski, both with Heidner Properties, Inc. (Ricky Rockets' owner).
Novak Construction was represented by Project Director, Steve Bykowski and his team: Michael Bathe (Project Manager), Pat Moriarity (Lead Superintendent), Chad Deckinga (Project Superintendent), as well as Novak Vice President - BD, Greg Terwilliger.
Steve Bykowski said, "We are proud to have had the opportunity to work again with Mike MacKinnon at Bluestone. He has been very supportive of our work on these types of projects and we are grateful. This particular project enhances Novak's expanding gas station/C-store portfolio and initiates a relationship with an outstanding new client, Ricky Rockets. Construction is slated to be complete by mid-summer 2017.
