RQAW Announces New Project Manager and Environmental Biologist

INDIANAPOLIS, IN Greg Ellis joins RQAW Corporation, an Indianapolis, Indiana, -based consulting firm known for its expertise in engineering, architecture and transportation construction. Ellis, who specializes in extensive design, construction, and roadway project management, will serve as a Project Manager with the firm. Jaime Byerly joins RQAW as an Environmental Biologist.

"Greg brings a tremendous skill set and more than 18 years of experience across the full spectrum of roadway design and technical construction," said Troy Woodruff, Vice President and Senior Partner with RQAW. "Greg addition to our staff is just another signal to the market that RQAW is committed to maintaining its 60-year tradition of being at the top of this industry."

Ellis' experience includes more than 15 years at Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), serving on projects ranging from $2 million to $225 million. He is certified in several areas of technical construction including bridge foundations, HMA and PCCP pavements and environmental permit compliance.

Ellis obtained a degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He currently resides in his hometown, Dugger, Indiana. He is leading Vincennes RQAW office, located at 328 N. 2nd St., Vincennes, Indiana.

Jaime Byerly, Environmental Biologist

Byerly brings more than eight years of experience to RQAW. 

"Jaime's knowledge of environmental regulations and procedures make her an asset to RQAW," said Woodruff. "She demonstrated her expertise to us as a consultant, and we knew we needed that on staff full time to provide our clients with the best outcomes."

Byerly's expertise includes writing and preparing documents for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, as well as extensive knowledge of categorical exclusions, environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. She provides detailed documentation of field studies for wetland delineations, mitigation, monitoring, permitting and environmental overviews.

Byerly graduated from Marshall University with a degree in biological science. She's from Huntington, West Virginia, and currently resides in Westfield, Indiana.
