RPS KLOTZ Associates Hires Murillo as Regional Transportation Manager
San Antonio, TX Responding to rapid growth in Central Texas, RPS Klotz Associates announces the selection of Alfred Murillo, P.E. as the Regional Transportation Manager for both the San Antonio and Austin areas. Murillo brings a wealth of experience to RPS Klotz Associates, with more than 20 years of private sector work and key roles in the creation of countless public infrastructure projects.
Previously, Murillo worked for another engineering firm where he accumulated extensive experience in the renovation, rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads in Austin, San Antonio and communities in between. Murillo's career experience also includes major projects on Interstate 45, State Highway 71, U.S. Route 281, Interstate 410, street improvements, railroad projects and even mass transit lines and stations for DART in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Additionally, Murillo has design and training expertise with special emphasis on railroads.
Murillo is the chair of the transportation committee for his local chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, and is a member of many other organizations including the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. He has a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
