Packer joins firm as Electrical Engineer/Project Manager

HOUSTON, TX  Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR)  has hired a new employee in the firm's Houston office. Thomas Packer, P.E., joins the team as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager.

Packer is a six year industry veteran having previously worked as an electrical engineer for another firm in the Houston area. He is experienced with electrical design, LEED projects, and construction administration. Packer's project experience covers a variety of markets, including healthcare and educational facilities.

"We are very excited to have Thomas join us here in Houston," said Kevin Wolfford, Regional Operations Director. "He brings a solid background in healthcare design as well as many other markets. Thomas will provide tremendous depth for our electrical engineering staff as well as provide support for our project management staff. He is a rare find these day and we are fortunate to have him on board."

Packer is a graduate of the University of Houston where he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He graduated Magna Cum Laude.
