Harwood International Announces 2850 North Harwood Office Tower Development Underway

DALLAS, TX  Harwood International has announced its latest office tower - 2850. Designed by Dallas-based HDF, LLC, the Class AA office tower features 22 floors totaling 228,000 rentable square feet. This will be the ninth development in the master-planned district of HARWOOD.
"The tower's unique form and aesthetic is derived from a mix of different office typologies," said Jihane A. Boury, Director of Leasing and Vice President, Harwood International. "One that maximizes lease depth and open space and another that takes advantage of corner offices and views, while also creating multiple outdoor terraces."Â
The ground level of the building will feature over 12,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space with adjacent gardens and outdoor seating. These gardens are continued on the ninth level with 20,000 square feet of green roof terraces. The building is topped off with 11,000 square feet of boutique office penthouse space and two green roof gardens providing 360 views of downtown, uptown, and HARWOOD.
"This past year, Harwood International has been under construction on over 1.8 million square feet in our district, and we're ready to kick off our next development," said Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, Founder and CEO, Harwood International. "Seven out of 18 phases have been completed in HARWOOD, including the most recent opening of Frost Tower this year."
The 18-city block district of HARWOOD has building rights to over 12 million square feet of condominium, office, retail, and multi-family residential mid-rise and high-rise development in Dallas. With a Walk Score of 92, HARWOOD offers a wealth of progressive culture, independent spirit and calming nature - all within 18 city blocks.
"Our goal is to prelease 65,000 square feet to kick off the building," said Boury.Â
Tenants, residents, and visitors are in walking distance to the city's most notable attractions including the American Airlines Center, The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection, The Ritz-Carlton, Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar, Mercat Bistro, Magnolias: Sous Le Pont Café, Marie Gabrielle Restaurant and Gardens, The Grove at Harwood, Happiest Hour, and the Dallas Arts District.
