HOUSTON, TX  HR Green, Inc. announces that Dave Reitz has been appointed as the President of the Land Development Business Line. Reitz previously served as the Director of the Land Development Midwest Region, overseeing planning, landscape architecture and engineering services delivered by staff in the Chicago area.

"Dave's expertise positions him well to take on the leadership of a group that remains strategically important to the future of HR Green," said CEO Steven R. Heyer.

Reitz's selection makes particular sense for HR Green as it enables him to leverage his experience in the active adult national marketplace to help expand its current presence in Illinois and Texas, as well as other geographies. Reitz is a registered landscape architect with extensive experience in residential land planning, land development, land entitlement, and landscape architecture.

Prior to joining HR Green in 2008, Reitz, worked as a National Director of Community Development with Del Webb and Pulte Homes, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.  While at Del Webb and Pulte Homes, he directed community planning and development for the Del Webb branded active adult communities nationwide for 49 different Pulte Homes Divisions.  Prior to Reitz's work at Del Webb and Pulte, he worked at Carter & Burgess in Dallas, Texas where he led multi-disciplinary project teams and served as a Manager for a large planning and landscape architecture group.
