Lehigh Hanson, Inc. Announces Morrish as New President and CEO
IRVING, TX Lehigh Hanson, Inc. announces that Jon Morrish has succeed Daniel M. Harrington as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer. Harrington will retire after more than 20 years of service with the company.
Harrington held the position of President and CEO since January 2010. Under his leadership, Lehigh Hanson successfully managed through one of the worst economic downturns in recent history and capitalized on the market recovery in the last few years. Harrington's many contributions and industry knowledge played a key role in positioning the company for future growth.
Morrish will also join the Managing Board of Heidelberg Cement effective February 1. Morrish has been with the company since 1999 and most recently served as the President of Lehigh Hanson's South Region, a position he held since September 2012. He also held the position of Managing Director of the Hanson cement business in the United Kingdom as well as Managing Director of Hanson Concrete. Morrish earned a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Leeds University.
