Parsons Restructures Its Business Units and Leadership

PASADENA, CA Parsons announces the appointments of Patrick A. "Pat" Cassity as Group Executive Vice President of Parsons Infrastructure, Gina L. Trombley as Group Executive Vice President of Parsons Federal, Virginia L. Grebbien has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief of Staff, and W. Dean Harwood has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, Operations.
Patrick A. Cassity
Parsons Infrastructure, a business unit of Parsons Corporation, provides its customers with full-service engineering and management services in the aviation, rail, and transit, transportation-related systems, and bridge and tunnel markets. In his new role, Cassity will lead Parsons Infrastructure's global operations and support business development and strategy.
Cassity has more than 23 years -13 years with Parsons - of progressive experience in general and project management positions in the transportation engineering and construction industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Road & Highway Division Manager.
"We are pleased that Pat has accepted this appointment," said Don Graul, Parsons Group President. "He has held various transportation-related leadership roles during his tenure with Parsons, and we know he will continue to help guide the business unit's success."
Cassity holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a master's degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Gina L. Trombley
Parsons Federal, a business unit of Parsons Corporation, provides customers worldwide with full-service engineering and management services in the defense, environmental, infrastructure, intelligence, and security markets. In her new role, Trombley will lead Parsons Federal's global sales and strategy.
Trombley joined Parsons in 2013 and has more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Aviation Division Manager. Prior to that, she was a Senior Vice President of Mining and International Rail Infrastructure.

Trombley holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and she served for 6 years in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Officer. She is based in New York, New York.
Virginia L. Grebbien
As part of its plan to reorganize its business operations, Virginia L. Grebbien has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief of Staff. In this role, she will report to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and will oversee Parsons' marketing and communications, government relations, and strategy functions.
Grebbien joined Parsons in 2008 and has 30 years of industry experience. Most recently, she served as the President of Parsons Environment & Infrastructurenow known as Parsons Industrial and led by Michael M. "Mike" Walsh.
"In addition to her water sector experience, Virginia has considerable experience in government relations, public policy, strategic customer development, business development, project development and finance, and project management, making her an ideal candidate for the Chief of Staff position," said Chuck Harrington, Parsons' Chairman and CEO.
Throughout the course of her career, Grebbien has served on the boards of numerous industry organizations. She is currently the co-chair of the Southern California Water Committee's Delta Task Force. Grebbien is a registered professional engineer in the state of California, and she holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
W. Dean Harwood
W. Dean Harwood has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, Operations. In this role, Harwood will be responsible for managing operations and business support across the global organization and will report to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Harwood has more than 25 years of experience in corporate and operational finance, profit and loss management, strategy and development, competitive analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. He joined Parsons in 2001 and has since held a succession of positions with increasing responsibilities.
"Having worked for Parsons for 14 years, Dean has a deep knowledge of Parsons' business and culture, and his strategic thinking will be an asset to our operations organization," said Harrington.
Harwood is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of North Carolina. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a master's degree in business administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. He also participated in the Advanced Management Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
