AUSTIN, TX The Texas Water Development Board has approved financial assistance totaling $64.2 million for multiple water and wastewater system improvement projects and two water supply projects. Of this funding, $59.8 million was designated for rural water projects.Â
$1,215,000 to the Ables Springs Water Supply Corporation (Kaufman County) for a water supply project
$5,000,000 to the Riverbend Water Resources District (Bowie County) for acquisition of a water and wastewater system

$1,039,350 to the City of Willow Park (Parker County) for water system improvements
$3,504,409 to the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 50 (Harris County) for water system improvements
$1,815,000 to the City of Liberty (Liberty County) for water and wastewater system improvements
$2,100,000 in financial assistance to the City of Kosse (Limestone County) for a water supply project
$16,547,000 to the Nueces River Authority (Real County) for a wastewater treatment plant
$31,461,891 to Kerr County for wastewater system improvements
$170,000 to the Loop Water Supply Corporation (Gaines County) for water system improvements
$1,960,215 to the City of Rio Hondo (Cameron County) for water system improvements
