Stantec Staff Members in Houston Continue to Focus on Clients With New Roles
HOUSTON, TX Stantec's Houston office continues its pattern of focusing on client service by transitioning two employees into new client-centric roles.
Laura Sachtleben, AIA, LEED AP, previously a Project Director in Stantec's Houston office, has been named Houston Area Market Leader. Sachtleben has more than 13 years of experience in education facility design and was named the 2014 Young Architect of the Year by the Houston AIA. In this new role, Sachtleben will expand her management of clients across the larger Houston region and help guide operations and talent acquisition throughout Texas.
A thought leader in the educational design field, Sachtleben leads Stantec's Research and Benchmarking program and has given seminars on innovative and sustainable design nationwide. Of recent note, Sachtleben led the project teams for Texan Drive Stadium, a highly acclaimed athletic complex in New Caney ISD, and Robert R. Shaw Center for STEAM, a districtwide collaborative space in Katy ISD. In 2015, the Shaw Center was named to the Caudill Class, which is the highest honor awarded by the Texas Association of School Administrators.
Another Houston staff member stepped into a new role as Project Director/Bond Planner. Kimberly Bow previously served as Marketing Team Lead for buildings in the Gulf with a primary focus on education projects. In her new role, Bow will now use her decade of business development and marketing experience to augment Stantec's bond planning services.
